What BoldTrail is
BoldTrail bundles a Smart CRM, IDX websites, a lead engine, marketing automation and, through BoldTrail BackOffice (the former Brokermint), transaction and commission management for brokerages. It is often bought at the brokerage level and rolled out to agents. If your brokerage already pays for it, it costs you nothing to try, and the lead-nurture automation is genuinely deep.
What agents run into
- No public pricing. The pricing page is a demo-request form, so you cannot know the cost without a sales call (checked September 2026).
- Reviews on G2 and Capterra repeatedly mention a steep learning curve and a platform that feels heavy for a solo agent: many screens exist for brokers and recruiters, not for you.
- Twelve-month contracts with auto-renewal are widely reported, and cancellation friction is a recurring complaint theme on review sites and the BBB.
- Transaction management lives in the BackOffice product, which is commission and compliance software for the brokerage, not a deadline engine for your own deals.
- US-centric: no published CASL consent tooling and no Canadian-specific deal workflows.
What Keyvera is instead
Keyvera is bought by the agent, not the brokerage, and every screen exists because a working Realtor needed it. Upload an accepted contract and the deal builds itself: subjects, deposit, completion and possession dates laid out with tasks and on your calendar. Listings get a checklist, an MLS® cheat sheet and a shareable Listing Key page. Campaigns are CASL-first, with consent recorded and enforced. And you can run all of it by voice from Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Grok.
Side by side
The honest bottom line
If you want your CRM to also be your website, your ad engine and your brokerage back office, and you have the patience to learn it, BoldTrail is built for that job. If you want to open one calm workspace, see what is due this week, and never re-type an offer into three tools again, that is Keyvera. Try the live demo and judge in two minutes.
