KEYVERA

Privacy policy

Last updated September 29, 2026

Keyvera is made by Keyvera Tech Ltd., a company in British Columbia, Canada ("Keyvera", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect through keyvera.ca and the Keyvera app, why, and the choices you have. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act, and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

What we collect when you join the waitlist

keyvera.ca does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics. The demo on the home page runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing to us.

How we use it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

If you use the Keyvera app

The app is invite-only before launch. If you have an account, we store your account details and the information you put into Keyvera, such as contacts, listings, deals, notes, tasks and documents. That information belongs to you, and we use it only to run the service for you. If you connect Google, Microsoft or Dropbox, we use that access only for the features you turn on, like sending email from your address, syncing your calendar or keeping deal folders. You can disconnect at any time in Settings.

Google account data

If you connect your Google account, Keyvera asks only for what its features need:

We store only what a feature needs to work, such as file names, links and calendar event IDs, plus the access tokens that keep your connection alive. We do not sell Google data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. It is shared only with the service providers listed below, only to run a feature you asked for (for example, Anthropic reads a contract when you ask Keyvera to pull the dates out of it). Our staff do not read it unless you ask us to for support, or security or the law requires it.

Keyvera's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can disconnect Google in Settings or at myaccount.google.com/permissions at any time, and ask us to delete anything we stored from it.

Who helps us run Keyvera

We use a small number of service providers to host the site, store data and deliver email: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Postmark (email delivery) and Sentry (error reports, with form contents, email addresses, phone numbers and IP addresses removed before a report leaves Keyvera). Inside the app, features you use may also rely on Anthropic (AI features such as reading a contract you upload), Twilio (text messages) and Google Maps (address lookup), and Stripe will handle payments once billing opens. They process information only to provide their service to us. Some of them store or process data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist details until you ask us to delete them or we no longer need them for the launch. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address and the date you unsubscribed so we never email you again, and we keep your consent record for as long as the law requires.

Your choices

How we protect it

Information travels to and from keyvera.ca over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to the waitlist is limited to Keyvera's founders. No system is perfectly secure, and if a breach puts you at real risk of significant harm, we will tell you and the Privacy Commissioner as the law requires.

Contact and complaints

Questions or requests go to sales@keyvera.ca, Keyvera Tech Ltd., British Columbia, Canada. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you by email first. Using the Keyvera app is also covered by our terms of service.
